Raj Punjabi was born in Connecticut and now resides on the West Coast in Oregon.

Raj started playing drums at the age of 4 and went on to play drums for the band Green Day at age 12 from 1983 until 1990. Raj has also performed with such artists as Curtis Young, Dizzy Right, Sublime LBC, One Wish and Restruct.

Raj’s versatility in drumming has allowed him to perform live with different genres ranging but not limited to Rock, Hip Hop and Reggae. Some of his all-time favorite drummers are Neil Pert from the band Rush and Carter Beauford from the Dave Matthews Band.

Raj is an Endorsed artist-rep for Sound Synergies, Soultone Cymbals, and DC California Custom Drums, No Nuts Cymbal Sleeves, Aquarian Drumheads, and Westone Audio. He currently performs with Northwest rock band US in addition to producing and writing for various genres and artist.
